PCL & UNITED RENTALS making a difference in our community!!!

Picture
Part of the Boys Haven program consists of the boys raising pigs for show.  Recently, our pig barn needed to be relocated.  Thanks to the generosity and hard work of the guys at PCL and United Rentals, that has been accomplished.  Both PCL and United Rentals donated supplies, materials, equipment, and man hours to relocate and reconstruct the pig barn so that this tradition can continue.  A big thanks goes out to PCL and UNITED RENTALS for their generosity, hard work, and compassion for the boys at Boys’ Haven.

Beaumont Junior Forum Updates Our Campus

During 2010, the Beaumont Junior Forum funded many projects, providing many updates for our campus.  Since hurricanes destroyed many buildings at Boys' Haven, space is somewhat limited, so the Beaumont Junior Forum funded teh construction of our much needed Morgan Storage Building which is placed on our campus.
Along with the storage building, the Beaumont Junior Forum also funded the purchase of a campus truck.  The truck is used for our 4-H Club, allowing transportation of supplies needed at our barn for the animals and upkeep of the barn itself.  It is also a must have during the South Texas State Fair, when our residents are showing their animals.
In addition, the Forum wanted to do something special for our residents.  Being a home for young men, they decided to fund the building of our pavilion, which is in the center of our campus.  The pavilion is used for events we have on campus but mostly for the residents recreation where they can regularly enjoy sports such as basketball.
Thank you again to the BEAUMONT JUNIOR FORUM!
