Boys’ Haven was founded in 1945 by the Beaumont Optimist Club. Since our inception, we have provided a safe, stable, loving home to boys from southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana. Many of these young people come from single parent homes in need of a more structured environment. Several of our boys are here long term and plan to stay with us until they graduate high school. Our program is based on the principals of discipline rather than punishment. Where natural consequences occur and privileges are earned. This helps residents become emotionally mature and responsible members of society
